HIGH Wycombe Primary School has been closed for the day after vandals caused significant damage to the school in the early hours of this morning.

Forrestfield Police allege the offenders smashed windows, let off fire extinguishers and graffitied buildings at the school.

Police have two juveniles in custody and are looking for a further four persons of interest.

The High Wycombe Primary School P&C have urged parents to keep their children at home today while the clean up is underway.

It is understood the early education centre has been the hardest hit by the vandalism.

Principal Richard Walters said the damage is extensive.

“We know at least 47 windows were smashed, there has been extensive damage to a number of classrooms, damage to furniture, equipment as well as spray paint around the buildings,” he said.
Parents will be updated later today.

The school’s Facebook page made the announcement this morning, urging parents to keep their children home.
