In the mood: Kalamunda Youth Swing Band returns with autumn dance event

GET ready for a night of swinging tunes when the Kalamunda Youth Swing Band (KYSB) returns with its popular autumn dance event at the Kalamunda Agricultural Hall on April 7.

KYSB president Jayne Clark said the band, alongside musical director Jon Fernandes, would be playing the Foxtrot, Quickstep, Modern Waltz Jive and Latin as well as swing music.

“We will have a short set by our intermediate band, and the KYSB Trio and our Big Band will be our star act,” she said.

“The last dance held in September was a sell out so we are looking forward to this event being equally as successful.

“The Jus’ Dance Studio will providing us with a floor shows and everyone can join in with the fun on the dance floor.”
