Jehovah’s Witnesses convention expected to draw 11,000 people

MORE than 11,000 people are expected to attend the Jehovah’s Witnesses annual State convention next month.

The convention will take place in Wattle Grove over nine weekends, starting August 10 and this year’s theme is ‘Be courageous’.

“This year’s program highlights practical information from the Bible to build and maintain courage with common challenges at school, work and in the family,” spokesman Simon Clarke said.

The program will include Mandarin (Chinese) language sessions on September 21 to 23.
