TWO singers started a band, BoobyTrap, four years ago at an open mic session, Hillsounds, in Kalamunda.
Joanne Ulrich and Sian McMillan shared a passion for harmonies and an unusual way of hearing music, which gave their original music a twist.
They invited three more musicians to join their band – Jon Elbery, Charlie Copping and Tim Clegg.
The relationship that evolved is reflected in their music, with the boys adding another dimension to their songs.
BoobyTrap will release an album, Saddle Up, on April 1 at the Kalamunda Hotel from 7-11pm, with support acts Little Tree and John Talati.
Tickets are available at the door for $5 and CDs will be for sale on the night.
