Kalamunda community rallies around gopher-rider whose wheels were stolen

GOPHER-riding Kalamunda resident Nina Radamanthos is overwhelmed by the support of her local community.

Her neighbour Michelle Bunn has set up a Gofundme site for anyone who would like to contribute towards the cost of replacing her friend’s stolen gopher.

“Nothing can really replace her beloved red motor with all the Harley Davidson badging, but it is a way for people to express how much they care about her,” she said.

“Nina has no idea what her always optimistic presence means to so many in the Kalamunda community.”

Mrs Radamanthos has multiple sclerosis and depends on the gopher to get about independently.

The vehicle taken from the rear of Kalamunda Primary School on August 7 and found wrecked several weeks later.
