Chloe Henderer, Jack Hall and Connor Chapman laid the wreath during the service at the Kalamunda RSL Hall.

Curriculum co-ordinator Carisa Crockart said the Kalamunda RSL had supported the school for their Anzac services for the past two years.

“We also have a wonderful collaboration between Kalamunda SHS and the education support centre with mainstream students assisting with the music this year,” she said.

“The Anzac address was delivered by Di Magrath, the wife of RAAF Wing Commander Ron Magrath, who spoke about her grandfather in World War I.

“He fought on the Western Front for the duration of the war and then stayed in France for some time after the end of the war to rebuild.”
