They came from Beechboro Christian School, Mundaring Christian College, Ellenbrook Christian College, Swan Christian College, Lake Joondalup Baptist College, and the host school to tackle challenges in mathematics, literacy, general knowledge, design and technology, the arts and lateral thinking.

Teacher Coralie Nancarrow said it was an opportunity for students to work in teams, challenge themselves and extend their knowledge and abilities.

“At the event, the students work in teams and complete challenges,” she said. “These are then marked and the schools are ranked against each other.”

The Kalamunda team placed first, with Swan Christian College second and Lake Joondalup Baptist College third.
