Kostera Oval open after redevelopment

The oval is of historical significance. as it has been the venue for the Kalamunda Agricultural Show for the past 117 years.

It is also the home of the Kalamunda Cricket Club and the Kalamunda and Districts Junior Football Club.

Representatives of the clubs, including the Kalamunda Lapidary Club and Kalamunda Senior High School, saw Kalamunda MLA John Day officially open the facility. He was accompanied by Shire President Andrew Waddell.

The upgrade was completed with partial funding from the State Government and will increase the number of playing fields and provide a high- quality facility for the community.
