PERTH’S finest opera stars will be performing under the stars when Opera at Twilight returns to Stirk Park next month.

Opera at Twilight co-ordinator Lea van Rensburg said the concert was the brainchild of international artist Ileana Otto-Johansen.

“Ileana is now our resident Hills soprano having had a successful career in both Germany where she studied at the Hochschule fr Musik, Franz Liszt, and New Zealand before moving to Kalamunda in 2012,” she said.

“Ileana is a prolific performer in Perth and lends her talents for what will be a glorious evening in Stirk Park.

Mrs van Rensburg said Ms Otto-Johansen, a voice coach at Guildford Grammar, recently performed with international tenor Aldo di Toro.

“A stellar cast of performers will join Ileana to provide a delightful selection of operatic highlights from various operas and gems from musical shows,” she said,

“We invite the audience to bring their picnic, chairs or blankets and opera glasses.”
