Teen assaulted at fast food outlet

A TEENAGER has received serious injuries after several men assaulted his group of friends with baseball bats in Forrestfield on Friday.

A group was leaving McDonald’s on Hale Road at about 10.20pm when a Hyundai Getz pulled up beside them and blocked the drive through lane.

Several men got out of the car, including two of them carrying baseball bats.

The men threatened the group and a 15-year-old boy was assaulted, causing him to be unconscious, as the group tried to run away.

The 15-year-old regained consciousness and was taken to St John of God Midland where x-rays revealed he received a broken jaw and nose from the assault.

Another 15-year-old boy received minor injuries from the assault.
