Teenage girl thrown from BMW after car rolls in Maida Vale

An 18-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and a girl was thrown from a car after it hit a pole and rolled in Maida Vale last night.

About 10.20pm, a green 318I model BMW sedan was travelling along Ridge Hill Road. Near Watsonia Road when the driver lost control and struck a power pole.

The car rolled, with a rear passenger in the BMW, an 18-year-old woman from Bentley, suffering serious injuries.

She was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.

The driver, a 17-year-old girl from Bentley was thrown from the vehicle and received minor injuries.

The front passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Maddington and another rear passenger, a 16-year-old boy from Ridgewood, received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Major Crash officers would like to speak to anyone or saw the crash, or the green BMW in the Maida Vale area prior to the crash.
