THREE teenagers linked to yesterday’s bushfire in Kalamunda have received a written caution from arson squad investigators.

The 14 year olds were referred to The Juvenile and Family Fire Awareness Program, an education and support program for children involved in fire lighting.

Strike Force Vulcan officers said their inquiry revealed the boys accidently caused the fire.

They said a social media post about teenagers seen in the area carrying jerry cans was incorrect.

Firefighters from three brigades attended the blaze about 11.35am on Tuesday in bushland near Railway Road and Mundaring Weir Road.
