They were much better in the second half only being outscored 4 goals to 2. Full time scores were 15.10 (100) to 2.2 (14).

Kane Swithenbank was best on ground.

With the thirds having a bye this week a few fresh faces suited up for the reserves and after knocking on the door for the past couple of games they finally took out a top scalp in University.

It was tight contest all day but the boys held on winning 3.5 (23) to 2.8 (20). James Morgan was dominant in the wet and Matthew Mercer kicked the winning goal.

After beating Fremantle CBC last week the league team had high hopes for another win this weekend and at half time it was very evenly placed but a poor third quarter cost them eventually going down 8.7 (55) to 3.7 (25).

Brett Van Groningen continuing his great form adjudged best on ground while Jarrod Brunskill was enormous down back.
