THE Kalamunda Cougars league team went down in a close game at North Beach on Saturday, having beat the previously unbeaten University the week before.
North Beach came out of the blocks firing and were the better team in the first half leading by 5 goals at the break.
Kalamunda clawed their way back into the game but eventually went down 12.12-84 to 10.11-71.
