BUCKLE up because the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is hitting the road to home deliver the freshest and funniest comedy in Kwinana.

A cast of intrepid travelling comedians will make a pit stop at the centre as part of their Australia-wide roadshow, bringing laughs a-plenty and a jam-packed show to comedy lovers.

With a mix of local heroes and international stars, the roadshow will showcase everything from stand-up and sketch to satire and song in one side-splitting show.

MC Dave Callan will facilitate a “chuckalicious” line-up at Koorliny Arts Centre, which comprises Ben Knight, Daniel Fernandes, Sam Taunton and Steph Tisdell.

Musical comedian Ben Knight draws comedic inspiration from his 10 years as a primary school teacher.

A part time musician, Ben started changing the lyrics to his acoustic ‘singer/songwriter’ songs while on a strict beans and tortilla diet and teaching in a small Mayan school in the Guatemalan highlands of Huehuetenango.

Daniel Fernandez is one of India’s leading English stand-up comedians, and brings a mix of observational, political and dark humour with a dash of social commentary, Steph Tisdell’s quirky stage presence skips between gleefully playful to biting political satire.

Self-described ‘kewl dude’ Sam Taunton juggles stand up and various media projects including being MTV Australia’s newest VJ.

His captive storytelling and quick-fire punch lines have resulted in him emerging as one of the most in-demand acts in the country.

Then there’s veteran performer Dave Callan, who as MC will take the night to a whole new level.

Due to strong language, sexual references and material that can offend, the show is recommended for ages 15+.
