Photographed from 2016-17, Palman’s images reflect on the concept of the private estate, identifying a culturally rooted desire for security and exclusivity which inevitably leads to separation and isolation

An autobiographical body of work, Wellard expresses a struggle between a desire for both security and freedom.

This series investigates new frontiers and Australia’s emerging identity by exposing the ways we relate to and mould our environment.

Palman engages in the documentary format, which culminates in large scale projects that explore the human condition through the study of physical and social landscapes.

Palman has had two major exhibitions, Wellard (solo) at Paper Mountain in Perth and Victory (a duo with Brent Harrison) at Smart Casual in Perth.

In addition to this he has been included in a number of awards and group exhibitions.

Palman is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Arts at Curtin University.
