“A couple of days ago we launched our first ever XLR8 Kids event and it has gone absolutely crazy since,” she said.

“Within an hour we sold out, within 24 hours we sold out three sessions.

“We have now put out session four and it’s likely we will do a fifth one.”

There are about 80 children in each session.

Mrs Blackshaw said children loved being active, being outdoors and getting dirty.

“They are loving it: running, climbing, jumping and crawling in the sand,” he said.

Mrs Blackshaw said the obstacle course was unique to WA.

“It’s been an enormous success and I’m proud to be encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle for kids,” she said.
