Bill Hill’s 90th birthday celebrations

Mr Hill, his wife Ruth and their daughter arrived in the seaside village of Safety Bay in 1979.

The family previously lived in the central Wheatbelt town of Muntadgin where they ran their farm.

In his 37 years of living in Safety Bay, Mr Hill became well known for his willingness to help others in the community.

The avid wood turner is a life member of Rockingham Autumn Club where he teaches his woodcraft skills.

He is a life member of Silver Chain, donating hundreds of hours in the service of others.

Mr Hill is also an honorary member of two Rockingham Masonic lodges.
