KWINANA residents are beating diabetes with the Brains and Beast program.

The program is run by fitness trainers Matt Eastham and Cliff Bloomfield at Jetts Kwinana.

“We now have three people that look like they have reversed type 2 diabetes and waiting on specialists results,” Mr Eastham said.

“Apart from these three we have one to three people who are medication free from our program.”

Mr Eastham said it was important to educate people about what food does to their body.

“One size doesn’t fit all, it’s all about learning how your body works and doing the best you can from there,” he said.

Mr Bloomfield said the program was based on a holistic approach and lots of hard work.

The next challenge starts this month.
