Calista: 300 homes without power after car crashes into power pole

POWER remains out to about 300 houses in Calista after a car crashed into a power pole about 6.30am this morning.

A Western Power spokeswoman said the power pole was brought down in the crash.

She said Western Power and police attended to make the area safe.

Western Power personnel are still at the scene trying to restore services.
