Carol Adams re-elected Mayor of Kwinana after being returned at council election

CAROL Adams has been re-elected as City of Kwinana mayor after a special council meeting last night.

Councillor Adams was one four successful candidates in Saturday’s local government election, polling 4009 votes (17.05 per cent).

Joining her on council were Merv Kearney with 1740 votes (7.4 per cent), Matthew Rowse with 2022 votes (8.6 per cent) and Sandra Lee with 1727 votes (7.33 per cent).

Cr Peter Feasey was re-elected as deputy mayor at last night’s meeting.
