City of Kwinana and Community First hosting inclusive art workshops

THE City of Kwinana in collaboration with Community First, are holding a series of art workshops intended for residents living with a disability in the City of Kwinana.

The workshops are delivered by professional artists, designed to explore a variety of art mediums such as screen and laser printing, mosaics and more.

If participants require assistance they will need to ensure that they are accompanied by a support person.

Some of the works created will be used in an exhibition at the Darius Wells Centre in December to celebrate all abilities and increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and the contributions they make to the community.

The event will coincide with International Day of People with Disability, which is held on December 3.
