City of Kwinana creates two new dog exercise areas in Wandi

THERE are now two new dog exercise areas in City of Kwinana.

Due to community feedback, the City recently introduced two new dog exercise areas in Wandi.

A consultation with the community was undertaken to ascertain the preferred site for new dog exercise areas, with residents able to choose between two locations.

Closing on February 23, the feedback gathered from community members throughout the consultation period resulted in the inclusion of an unfenced park on the corner of Bindarri Grove and Honeywood Avenue, and a fenced park on the corner of Darling Chase and Turnix Street.

Within the new dog exercise areas, owners will have the opportunity to exercise their dogs without a lead, provided the dog is under supervision and effective control.
