Cooloongup care facility celebrates 50 years

Long-serving carer Mairi Totten was honoured for her contributions to residents since she began working with the organisation in 1989.

There to help kick off the festivities were Mayor Barry Sammels, City chief executive Andrew Hammond, parish priest Father D’Souza, Southern Cross Care chief executive Errol Turner and SCC board members Mary Butterworth and Tony Vis.

A Knights of Southern Cross representative and the state chairman, Peter Jack and John Dwyer, also attended.
