CHILDREN in Kwinana were encouraged to read, talk, sing and rhyme at a Paint Kwinana REaD event at Darius Wells Library.

Paint Kwinana REaD is a community led initiative that promotes the importance of early literacy for children.

Events encourage parents to read, talk, sing and rhyme to their children from birth, so they are ready for learning at school.

Kwinana MLA Roger Cook said events like Paint Kwinana REaD made him proud to be part of the Kwinana community.
