PEOPLE wanting to learn more about waste reduction, gardening and conservation tips for the home can attend a series of Living Green activities and workshops from May to July.
Living Green includes a seven-week Living Smart course, community planting days, and a Living Greener event at the Wellard Pavilion where people can purchase local native seedlings for $1.50 each thanks to a City of Kwinana subsidy.
The Living Smart course will begin May 16 from 9.30am until noon at the Ken Jackman Hall in the Darius Wells Library and Resource Centre.
The cost is $80 for the seven weeks, $40 for concession and crèche is available.
The Living Greener information stalls and native plant sale will be held Saturday, May 18, 9am until noon at Wellard Pavilion.
Help revegetate the area by taking part in a free Living Landscapes community planting day, which start May 26 at Henley Reserve in Wellard before moving to other locations around the city.
