New team members will be employed across all departments in the Kwinana store, including customer service, bakery, fresh produce, dairy, night fill and administration.

Store manager David Drew said the new store would not only create a boost in employment for the area, but also ensure the community received the best shopping experience possible.

“We’re in the process of recruiting around 50 new team members, and we have received an exceptional amount of strong applications,” he said.

“I look forward to welcoming a diverse range of people and skill sets to the Kwinana team.”

When revealing the new market-style supermarket, shoppers will be able to enjoy an extensive fresh produce section, open-style butchery and an in-store bakery complete with a large range of artisan breads, cakes and pastries.

The store will also feature a continental delicatessen with a variety of local and international cheeses as well as a scoop and weigh cabinet filled with a selection of nuts and dried fruit mixes.

The extensive range of food will also include locally-sourced products from WA suppliers such as Harvey Beef, British Sausage Company, Harvey Citrus, Berry Sweet and many more.
