Parmelia artist John Richardson to host second exhibition of work at Darius Wells Library

INSPIRED by his own and friends travels around Australia, John Richardson loves expressing those memories on canvas.

The Parmelia artist is holding his second exhibition at the Darius Wells Library next week.

He said there are 26 paintings in his exhibit.

“We travelled a lot in the campervan but now that we are a bit older, we don’t do that so much,” he said.

“Friends give me photos from their trips and I paint from those or I sometimes take inspiration from the odd calendar or two.”

He said he was feeling a little apprehensive about the upcoming exhibition.

Light refreshments will be served on the night.
