ART lovers will again be able to choose from a selection of artworks going under the hammer for Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation at Three Wishes Restaurant in Rockingham.
Run by artist Samantha Laden, bidders will have the freedom to bid on 33 pieces with no reserve.
Ms Laden said she had her own work but most of her passion comes from re-producing artworks.
“Some of the artists represented include Contessa Santina Stransky, Lindsay Calyun along with an original piece from Olga Kolysnikova; her mother Irina is the owner of the restaurant,” she said.
“It is a great way to buy a special, unique gift for someone this Christmas. From Impressionist pieces by Monet to the iconic Ned Kelly series by Sidney Nolan there is something for everyone.”
Other artists represented include Vincent Van Gogh’s The Starry Night and traditional Aboriginal paintings.
Ms Laden has also donated some of her own original watercolours.
It is the fourth auction of its type with the first held in London at Australia House to raise money for Save the Children.
“This time I am very excited to be holding this to raise money for Princess Margaret Children’s Hospital.”
Ms Laden said the paintings will begin from prints of $5 and upwards.
She said wine for the evening is being donated by the owner of Rockfields Winery in Margaret River, Dr Andrew Gaman.
Auctioneer for the event will be past president of South Bunbury Rotary Club, Jim Stephen.
