Stranger tries to lure boy

Police said the boy was walking about 3.25pm when he was stopped by a man in a vehicle. The boy reported the man was waving his hands at him, trying to get him to come over.

The boy ran off.

The vehicle was described as a small blue car that looked new. The man was described as Caucasian and bald.

Parents were urged to be vigilant with child safety during the school holidays.
