THE Whistling Kite was a winner at the Australian Hotels Association Hospitality Awards for Excellence on Monday night .

The Secret Harbour business won the Retail Bottleshop Award category.

The awards were held at a gala ball at Crown Perth.

Restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars and tourism venues were recognised for their success and dedication to the industry.

AHA WA chief executive Bradley Woods said the future of WA hospitality was bright, thanks to the high level of passion demonstrated by the staff and leaders of the businesses named as finalists and winners.

“WA’s hospitality venues provide world class food, beverages, service and atmosphere,” he said.
