White Ribbon Day: Radio Rentals staff to wear a pair of high heels in solidarity with domestic violence victims

Vanessa SchmittWeekend Kwinana Courier

Men will ‘wear-a-pair’ to represent standing in solidarity with the community of women affected by domestic violence. It is a symbolic gesture to spend a day walking in the shoes of women affected by domestic violence.

One woman is killed every week in Australia as a result of domestic violence and one in four children are exposed to it.

White Ribbon Day aims to raise awareness and break the silence associated with the issue.
