Choi, who played third base, pitcher and catcher, said his hard work paid off to land him a spot on the School Sport Australia state team.

“It was fun but I had to train really hard to get my position on the team,” he said.

“I have been playing baseball for around six years now and soon it will be my seventh.”

The Year 9 student said he had ambitions to play professional baseball one day.
