A TEAM of talented senior soccer players aged 41 to 62 will represent Kwinana at this year’s World Masters Games in Auckland, New Zealand.
The team of 15 men will compete in the Over 40s B Competitive League between April 19 and May 1.
Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams said many of the players had been playing sport in the City since they were children.
“To see them continuing to play in their 40s and beyond is great to see,” she said.
“Keeping active and participating in team sports is beneficial at any age.”
The team also competed in the 2009 World Masters Games in Sydney.
