Rugby union: Kwinana Wolves juniors howling after impressive showing at Singapore tournament

KWINANA Wolves Rugby Union under-16s competed in the TRC Cup Youth Rugby Tournament in Singapore.

The team competed in an under-17s two-day competition.

Hosted by Tanglin Rugby Club, the tournament featured teams from around Asia.

Kwinana reigned on the first day of the carnival, winning two games, drawing one and losing one.

Day two and finals day featured torrential rains and a muddy field.

The Wolves made it to the grand final against Singapore Centaurs.

Unfortunately, due to lightning, the game was called off and Centaurs was declared winners.

Coaching staff Ricky Stedman and Victor Taingahue were proud of the team and their accomplishments.
