Both cafes were previously Dome cafes, but owner Craig Brown closed them down over Winter to renovate and relaunch as Tods.

Mr Brown said he was excited about having flexibility at the re-launched coffee shops.

“We can offer a locally sourced menu which we can regularly update,” he said.

“I am excited about more flexibility with our menu items.”

Since re-opening, Mr Brown said the response had been overwhelmingly positive.

“It’s great, a relief and I am really happy with the renovations,” he said.

“We’ve gone for a coastal theme, that is lighter and brighter.

“We’ve nearly got all our staff back too.”

Mr Brown has owned the Mandurah business for 21 years and the Halls Head business for 11 years.
