But Halls Head Community Bank employees will don aprons for the MasterChef Australia Cooking Challenge to raise funds for Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Branch manager Cameron Sudweeks said the scale of the fundraising activity was unprecedented across the Bendigo Bank network.

‘Our branch is well recognised for supporting our community, providing access to funding in big and small ways, and making a difference to the lives of people in our town,’ he said.

‘We’re all helping to give sick children the experiences they deserve, to see the smiles on their faces and know that a community has been enriched because of this support. We’ve got a fundraising target of $5000 and we’re determined to raise at least that amount.’
