The couple, who had recently moved to Mandurah, decided to book each grandchild a styled teepee to give them something to focus on other than parental absence.

Azulla’s Party Hire proprietor Raine Weal said the couple wanted to both take the edge off the new experience for their grandchildren and make the event especially memorable.

She said she worked with the couple to identify what their grandchildren particularly loved.

“They chose a Justice League teepee for Adam consisting of Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and The Flash, and Charlie loved her unicorn teepee.

“When I returned to collect the teepees the next day, they said both children had gone to bed when they were told and stayed there for the night.’’
