UBER Eats will launch in Mandurah this Thursday, and more than a dozen local favourite restaurants have jumped on board.

Mandurah restaurants including the Sporting Globe, Yo’Good, Sarba’s Lakelands and Alfresco Restaurant and Cafe are now just a few taps away.

Uber Eats WA state manager Luke Mulholland said they were stoked to bring Uber Eats to the Peel region.

“Locals have been asking us to come here all year, and we’re pleased to answer these calls to now offer local restaurants and eaters alike with the option to access online food delivery via Uber Eats,” he said.

An Uber Eats spokeswoman said the decision to launch in Rockingham this July was in response to an article by Weekend Courier in April this year.

Coastal Times was told by Uber Eats in April they initially had no plans to launch in the Peel region.

The delivery fee for the Mandurah launch will be $3.95 for a limited time only, and will later revert back to $6.95.

Locals can try Uber Eats and get $10 off their first order, with the code UEMANDURAH. It will expire on December 31 and the discount code will only be eligible for first time users.
