Bells toll for tribute

Hells Bells will play some of the finest Bon Scott-era AC/DC songs, sung by Wayne Curnow along with Rod Pearson on lead guitar, who cut his guitar-playing teeth on AC/DC as a youngster.

Hells Bells was formed in 2005 and has been performing the best of AC/DC for the past 10 years.

"It's a salute to AC/DC, not just the Bon Scott or Brian Johnson era; it's the whole band that makes AC/DC work," rhythm guitarist and manager Mal Osborne said.

The three original founding members Osborne, Glenn Warber and Paul Eckermann are now enjoying the peak of the band's popularity with Curnow on vocals and Pearson on lead guitar.

Curnow has been with the band for six years and has been singing in AC/DC tribute bands for almost 20 years.

The support act will be Lantana, featuring vocalist Hanna Osman and Ryan Dillon on syncopated percussion.
