Former cast members of Les Miserables, London’s longest running musical, include Andy Reiss.

Reiss landed his first professional role in musical theatre after an open audition for the first UK production of Les Miserables outside the West End – in Manchester.

Not only did he stay with the show for its entire Manchester residency, he ended up as the show’s resident director while also performing in the show, the only person ever to do so.

Reiss also performed in Les Miserables in Dublin and Edinburgh and was chosen from the worldwide casts of Les Miserables to appear in the 10th anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

He also performed in the musical Chess and as Che Guevara in Evita.
