THE UK’s critically acclaimed Beyond the Barricade premieres in Australia this year and Mandurah will be on its tour of 24 venues.

The glittering concert of musical showstoppers stars past principal performers from Les Miserables in the West End and on UK tour, along with favourite songs from the world’s greatest West End and Broadway musicals including the latest sensation Hamilton, Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Evita, Wicked, Miss Saigon, Mamma Mia, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Lion King.

Beyond the Barricade has been delighting audiences throughout the UK and Europe for 19 years, from the Royal Albert Hall to Cunard cruise liners.

Former cast members of Les Miserables, London’s longest running musical, include Andy Reiss.

Reiss landed his first professional role in musical theatre after an open audition for the first UK production of Les Miserables outside the West End – in Manchester.

Not only did he stay with the show for its entire Manchester residency, he ended up as the show’s resident director while also performing in the show, the only person ever to do so.

Reiss also performed in Les Miserables in Dublin and Edinburgh and was chosen from the worldwide casts of Les Miserables to appear in the 10th anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

He also performed in the musical Chess and as Che Guevara in Evita.
