Rock musician hits Mandurah

The six-track EP was recorded in Franklin, Tennessee – just outside Nashville – and released in May.

“On reflection, everything seemed to happen really naturally for this recording, which I think is always a great sign that the music was supposed to be made,” the singer-songwriter said.

“I found by accident the room where I created the demos for these songs. The decision to go back into the studio to record was made almost on the spur of the moment, and even the artwork concept and title of the EP seemed to appear effortlessly.

“As is my natural tendency, the EP is eclectic. I don’t like to pigeonhole myself; I just write what comes and go with it, which makes more sense to me than trying to edit myself to say that I have a particular sound.”

Caudle plays Cobblers Tavern, Falcon on June 20, the Brighton Hotel, Mandurah on June 26 and Murphy’s Irish Pub on June 28.
