Clothing brand making waves

Former Mandurah resident Ricky Longshaw and Shane Wylie, of Meadow Springs, started Coastal Goons two weeks ago and launched the brand on Friday.

Their T-shirts are influenced by Ricky’s artistic flair with graffiti and tattoos.

‘It’s a lifestyle clothing brand for those willing to break the norm and live the life they want and have some damn comfy clothes to do it in,’ he said.

They hope to develop some singlets and hats soon.

‘So far our market is solely online, but we have had a bit of interest from shopfronts,’ Ricky said.

‘We’ve sold about 50 T-shirts.

‘At the moment we’re having a bit of fun with it. If we get big, we hope to bring our friends with us and have fun on the way.’
