Darren Guthrie brings blues-inspired reggae sounds to Mandurah and Ravenswood

SHOALWATER blues-inspired reggae and roots composer Darren Guthrie plays three performances in Mandurah and Ravenswood in April during his solo national tour.

Performing around WA as a solo, duo and trio act, Guthrie establishes a relaxing atmosphere with the sweet tones of his Cole Guitar in hand, Big Foot stomp below and the rumble of warm deep vocals.

His sound is unique and inviting and he has released three independent releases Guthrie EP, End the Prohibition and most recently Seeds of Change.

Seeds of Change is the first album release for the Guthrie Trio (Guthrie on guitar, ukulele and vocals, Jase Le Scelle on bass and Maxx Carter on drums and percussion).

Guthrie recently completed his first solo national tour across Australia, performing 18 packed shows, including a main stage performance at the Nimbin MardiGras Protestival.
