MANDURAH author and historian Ena Czeladka Willemsen launched her latest book on Saturday .
Willemsen’s self-published book The Valley and the Sea was launched by Mandurah MLA David Templaman at the Mandurah Library.
The book is an anthology of fact, fiction and memoir in prose and poetry told with humour and pathos.

True and fictional stories, poetry and personal reflections about life, love and the seasons are interspersed with poignant memories of Ms Willemsen’s early years, her family’s trials, the loss of a beloved brother in the war, and her own struggle to maintain a home shadowed by chronic illness.
Ms Willemsen has a passion for family heritage and a special interest in local history.
