Mandurah indie-pop band Indigo releases new single, Fossils

Jill BurgessMandurah Coastal Times

MANDURAH indie-pop rockers Indigo have released their new single Fossils, the first taste of their forthcoming EP, quickly following up this year’s Kumiho EP featuring the singles Crave and Deluge.

Vocalist-guitarist Chris Kinna says Fossils was written about the union between two lovers who believe they have crossed paths before in another lifetime, touching on notions such as astrology and the belief in twin flame relationships.

In their first couple of years, Indigo released their first EP, earned their first support slots, entered and won the Ampfest and Stagebound competitions, were invited to the Southbound and State of the Art festivals, played their first live radio set and found the start of their fan base.

Now as they have become more accomplished as a band while touring throughout WA, recently supporting Tired Lion, The Jungle Giants and Nolisy, their music is becoming more sophisticated and subtle.
