The underground bar was previously known as Peppers and after several years of preparation it will re-open as Mandurah Underground.

The space features a cocktail bar, a dance floor, tables and seating.

Marketing manager Jacob Goodlich said he hoped Mandurah Underground would be a classy place to hang out.

“It has a Gentleman’s Club and burlesque feel and that’s the look we’re going for,” he said.

“We hope to have stand-up comedy nights too.”

Mandurah Underground will also be available for functions.

Mr Goodlich said the venue could comfortable accommodate 80 people and could support up to 130 guests. If it gets too crowded, there is always the bar upstairs.

Mr Goodlich said Mandurah Underground was not entirely finished and management would be investing in the venue.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the opening night on Friday, September 13 at 6pm. There will be free entry and free canapes.
