Perth Symphony Orchestra to play free concert at Murdoch Uni next month

Tickets for the Music@Murdoch concert will be available from the orchestra website from 9am on Wednesday, February 1.

Musicians will accompany guest singers to perform musical theatre, film classic and rock hits.

Support acts will include Murdoch University student Kathryn McCarthy and Australian Idol finalist Chris Murphy.

Gates will open at 4.30pm, with free parking and a food circus provided by Hawaiian.

“The feedback we had from last year’s concert was fantastic, but people wanted more,” PSO founder and executive director Bourby Webster said.

“So we’ve worked miracles and thanks to the City of Melville and Murdoch University increasing their support, we are able to perform a full-length concert this year.”

VIP tickets, costing $50, will also be available.
