FROM a childhood spread between Europe and Australia, Riley Pearce’s desire to explore and discover always seems to be reflected in his song writing.

Outside the Lines is the 23 yr-olds second EP release, inspired by a recent six- month trip to Montana and a look at the world through traveller’s eyes.

In true coming-of-age style, Outside The Lines sees Pearce transcend from his debut EP We Are Fools into a more mature and honest brand of song writing.

In this release, Pearce combines a delicate mix of percussive guitar, horns and smooth harmonies to achieve both a chilled and upbeat vibe in his songs.

Despite his youth, Pearce’s performances are starting to earn him some well-deserved attention.

With a nomination for AU Review’s WA Best Male Vocals Award last year and support slots for the likes of Kim Churchill, Lifehouse and Josh Pyke, there are plenty of reasons to check out his music.
