MEMBERS of the community are invited to watch a performance by the Halls Head Primary School after-school drama club.

SCRIPTED Drama Club will take the audience on a magical carpet ride as they stage their end-of-year production, Aladdin.

Students from years 1 to 7 have been busy rehearsing the show after school for four months.

Music teacher and SCRIPTED Drama Club director Sian Dhu said the program was a fantastic way for children of all ages and backgrounds to come together to achieve a common artistic goal.

“As well as developing talent and confidence, the program has helped create so many new friendships among students who may not usually get the chance to interact at school,” she said.

The show is at Pinjarra Civic Theatre on Sunday, October 25 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are $2 and can be bought at the door.
